RETREAT of a LIFETIME
STILLNESS
Our week long wellness and yoga retreat integrates relaxation, self-discovery and renewal. Dedicated stillness and breathing sessions at sunrise allow you to set your intention and begin the day with purpose. In the evening, another session to wind down the day.
MOVEMENT
While on RETREAT our daily energizing movement sessions include yoga, swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and hiking. Each immersed in the breathtaking beauty of the tropical British Virgin Islands.
RENEWAL
Spend the midday hours however it pleases you – reading a new book, journaling, taking a nap, indulging in a spa service or simply just be. The choice is yours.
RETREAT BVI creates space to disconnect from daily life to give you the opportunity to reconnect with yourself. Our daily guided sessions, down time and workshops allow for self-reflection and discovery. Each designed to direct the mind toward your life’s passions, purpose and joys.

What do we do on RETREAT?
1. movement
Twice daily movement sessions vary as we sail from island to island. From hiking The Baths in Virgin Gorda to snorkeling The Indians off the coast of Norman Island, we ensure you have the opportunity to move each day. Perhaps you prefer to sleep in and then join our morning yoga class on a secluded beach. This is your retreat. All sessions are included but none are mandatory. However you choose to experience your retreat – is completely up to you!
2. stillness
Dedicated and guided moments of stillness allow us to reconnect. To take time to check in with ourselves and see how we are doing. As the sun rises in the sky and again as the sun sets into the water, we will take a moment to pause and to listen.
3. breath
Each day at sunrise and sunset we will take time to connect with our breath through guided breathwork and stillness sessions. Grounding, energizing or winding down, we learn and experience ways connect with our all powerful life force, the breath.
4. nourishing eats
All meals are crafted with whole foods and local ingredients to bring our bodies and minds toward balance.
With Caribbean infusion and the intention to reduce inflammation, two meals per day, breakfast and lunch, are included and served on board.
In the evenings, we dine on shore as a group at the best local restaurants. Two dinners will be served on board during our weeklong excursion.
5. self-discovery
Daily workshops that align with our core values, yogic philosophies and promote a wellness lifestyle will be given each afternoon of our journey.
6. luxury accommodations
The luxury catamaran offers generous interior and exterior living spaces. The cabins are spacious and provide a pleasant space for rest and relaxation. Shared living spaces, such as the saloon and cockpit, are designed to optimize comfort, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all on board.
RETREAT BVI ITINERARY
Day 1: Norman Island
Today we embark on an infinite path of growth and transformation.
Welcomed on board in late afternoon, guests are greeted with bites and a refreshing mocktail.
We head out of the marina toward Norman Island, the first stop of our excursion.
Opening circle and evening dinner take place on board. Time to unwind and settle into the welcoming space of our private luxury yacht.
Day 2: Cooper Island
Each day begins with breath and stillness at sunrise. Next, we head to snorkel caves and The Indians.
Breakfast and lunch are served on board daily.
An afternoon sail to Cooper Island for the night. A yin yoga class in the evening to release tension and let go of stress before heading to dinner at Cooper Island Beach Club.
Day 3: Virgin Gorda
On our third day, breath and stillness followed by snorkeling and paddle boarding at Cooper Island. After breakfast, we sail to Virgin Gorda.
In the afternoon, a service project to give back to the local community.
Yoga in the evening to wind down the day.
At dinner, we will experience the eclectic energy of Coco Mayo as a group.
Day 4: Scrub Island
Our fourth day begins with morning time for hiking, swimming and exploring, The Baths at Devil’s Bay National Park.
The remainder of the day will be filled with relaxation, self-care and spa services.
We will dine together in the evening on board and end the day with yoga nidra.
Day 5:
Jost Van Dyke
We begin day five with our morning session then head on shore for a yoga class overlooking the sea.
The day will be spent sailing with stops along the way for snorkeling.
We arrive at Jost Van Dyke in the afternoon and take a short hike to explore the bubbly pools.
We will moore at Diamond Cay for the night and dine on shore for dinner.
Day 6: Peter Island
On day six, we start our day with yoga and a swim on the picturesque shore of a secluded beach.
We head to Peter Island in the afternoon. Our sunset session and the closing circle for our retreat will be held on board.
At dinner, we will experience our closing meal together on shore at Peter Island.
Day 7: Tortola
As our retreat begins to come to a close, we make our way back to the marina.
Breakfast is served on board and by noon time we will disembark. We say – see you soon – to new friends and head to the airport.
what is included?
luxury accommodations
The luxury catamaran will be our home for the seven nights of the retreat. Each guest will have a shared cabin. Each shared cabin holds a maximum of two people.
All beds are a shared queen size bed. If you book your retreat with someone you know, the two students will be placed in the same cabin. Book with a friend!
If you are traveling solo, you will be matched with another solo traveler based on availability.

Twice daily nourishing, whole food, meals inspired by local ingredients are included in the retreat program.

- Dietary restrictions and/or allergies must be disclosed at time of application to ensure they can be met. Meals served on board will be vegetarian or vegan. Daily breath and stillness sessions take place at sunrise and sunset. All are included in the retreat program.

SELF-DISCOVERY
Daily journal prompts, mantras and affirmations will be distributed each morning to start the day with purpose.
Daily workshops after lunch will allow us to reflect and go within, shaping our outlook for feeling better and incorporating into our daily routine.
7 workshops are included in the retreat program.
CREW
Our private luxury yacht will be led by an experienced skipper, chef and crew to ensure a comfortable and safe experience.

All equipment for yoga, snorkeling and paddle boarding is included in the retreat program.

NATIONAL PARK ACCESS
Access to Devil’s Bay National Park is included in the retreat program.
RETREAT BVI is a wellness and yoga retreat program of self-discovery, adventure and relaxation that takes place on board a luxury catamaran. This retreat is not recommended for any person that is feels seasick easily due to the nature of the accommodation.
Yoga, breathwork, meditation, snorkeling, paddle boarding or sailing experience is not required to attend. All guests should be in adequate physical and mental health.
what is not included?
GROUP DINNERS
Four evening meals will take place at local restaurants along our route. These four meals are not included in the retreat program.
Meals on shore give us the opportunity to experience the local cuisine and culture of the islands.
Because these meals are not included in the retreat program, it is important to bring cash for dinner payments at restaurants. Each student will be responsible for the food and drink they order at dinners on shore.
We will be seated as a group and separate checks are not available in the islands. Please ensure you bring enough cash so that we can easily pay at the end of each meal. The US Dollar is the currency accepted in the British Virgin Islands. Credit card is available in some locations but not all. Mobile pay options are not typically available. Cash is preferred.
SPA SERVICES
Give yourself the gift of self-care and renewal.
We will spend one day at Scrub Island where we will have access to a full service Spa.
Spa services are not included in the retreat program. Services must be reserved and paid in advance.
After booking, you will be contacted to schedule spa services of your choice.
FLIGHTS and international travel info
FLIGHTS – Plan to arrive to Beef Island/Tortola (EIS) the night before or before noon on the day of embarkation.
No flight or luggage costs are included in the retreat program and are the sole responsibility of the participant.
IMPORTANT – A valid passport is required to enter the British Virgin Islands. You must have a valid passport to attend the retreat. Please check the expiration date of your passport to ensure it does not expire, within six months of your travel dates, before booking your retreat. No refunds will be given for expired or lost passports.
COMPLETE FORM – Within 72 hours of your flight to the British Virgin Islands, it is required to complete the online Immigration and Customs Form available only 72 – 36 hours before departure. You can complete it on the British Virgin Islands Customs and Immigration portal.
SAVE RECEIPT – After submitting the form, save the generated receipts to your mobile device or print them out to show immigration and customs officers.
When you arrive by plane, you will go to customs and immigration and show officers the receipts and passport identification. Next, you will be requested to pay $10 USD in cash for the Environmental and Tourism Levy.
PERSONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE
We understand some things in life are out of our control. Please protect your investment by purchasing personal travel insurance at the time of booking. See the Wellness and Yoga Retreat Agreement for cancellation policy and insurance recommendation details.
It is solely up to the participant to acquire adequate insurance coverage for the length of the trip dates. CFAR (cancel for any reason) and IFAR (interruption for any reason) can be added to most policies for an additional fee. Policy cost and coverage vary by provider.
If you live stateside, there are multiple options including world nomads and trawick international. It is the sole responsibility of the student to determine which personal travel insurance policy is correct for their needs.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS
Airport transfers are not included in the retreat program.
A taxi can be arranged at the airport for about $20 USD cash per person.
To return to the airport, a taxi can be arranged at the marina for a similar fare.
GRATUITY
Gratuity is not included in the retreat program. Consider offering gratuity to taxi drivers, spa therapists, skipper and crew. If you love your experience, let it be known by leaving a gratuity after services or at the end of your stay.
GIFTS AND SOUVENIRS
If you plan to shop at any of our stops, bring cash or credit card to purchase gifts and souvenirs.
